Maverick Athenaeum Hostel – Lighting Design Shaping the Guest Experience

Lighting played a key role in shaping the atmosphere. The concept focused on creating a distinctive ambience through decorative design luminaires and carefully composed lighting effects. General illumination was solved with discreet track lighting systems that support the space without competing with the statement fixtures.
A defining element of the interior is the monumental Vibia Wireflow installation, which visually frames the communal area and immediately draws attention. Custom-designed wall luminaires in bespoke RAL colours add subtle character to the surfaces, while integrated plant lighting highlights the greenery and brings additional depth to the interiors. Bespoke lighting solutions also appear in the staircase areas, turning transitional spaces into atmospheric design moments.
A project’s distinctive feature is that our specialists also designed the interior façade lighting, ensuring an elegant and sensitive illumination of this heritage-protected building. In the evening hours, the illuminated inner façade becomes one of the most striking focal points of the lobby and communal spaces.
Solinfo Group is proud to have contributed to the project with lighting solutions that help define the hostel’s unique visual identity and guest experience.
